Progress is being made and, as usual, the last week puts a ton of pressure on us to get this all going. Our apologies to those who’ve emailed us and haven’t yet heard back…..we will reply as soon as we can. To keep everyone posted, the plans for upcoming show are:
1) The lights will be turned on this Friday, December 1, 2006 assuming we don’t run into any technical difficulties.
2) For the first 7 to 10 days, we will be running the same “Wizards” sequence that we ran last year. However, the new additions, built this year, will be added to this sequence.
3) Around the 10th of December, we will be adding a BRAND NEW musical sequence that will be just under 3 minutes. This means we will have 2 musical sequences for this season. We normally don’t begin programming the new sequences until we’ve finalized the installation of the lights, which is the reason for the delay in releasing this. It’ll take well over 40 hours to program this sequence.
4) We hope to have videos of the new show posted on our website no later than mid-December.
This year’s show will be the best yet, so don’t miss it!
See you soon!

So far almost 200hours (divided amongst us) have gone into the setup of the lights this month. Special thanks to Hus, Slobodan, and Terry for helping us out every weekend.
We think we’re pretty much on schedule and plan to create a new addition to the show this weekend. You’ll probably see us building the new addition, via the webcams, over the next few days. When we’re not outside, we’re inside making controllers, etc.
Today we posted new pictures, which can be seen here:

Check out the “Contact us” page on our website. We’ve just added an embedded Google map to the site, which should make it easier to locate us. It’s fun to play with too!

Well it’s crunch time….. We’ll start assembling the lights this week so hopefully the weather will cooperate. With more than 55,000 LED lights expected to go up this year, it’s going to be a busy month.
